An immediately fragrant aroma of lemon zest, yeast and fermenting wash, like strolling round a distillery on a warm summer afternoon. Further notes of ripe plums, Bovril beef extract, banana split, crispy cereals, trail mix and brown toast. Dilution brings ripe melon, guava, dried thyme, oregano and chopped basil. Dried banana chips, vanilla custard and white pepper. At first the mouth is full of pineapple juice, oatmeal flapjack and salty porridge (a curious combo). Then Victoria sponge, orange marmalade, icing sugar and heather ale. With water we find sandalwood, carbon paper, lemon peel, crystallised ginger, fruity chilli and potpourri.
