Explore the effects of wine cask maturation on two elegant Speyside whiskies. Cask 35.232 The St Bernard’s barrel spent all ten years in a first-fill red wine barrique, exhibiting an array of sweet and savoury flavours as a result. After ten years in an ex-bourbon barrel, Cask 58.32 Eye of the fruit loop spent two years in a second-fill Chenin Blanc barrique, expanding on its fruity profile while picking up some herbaceous notes for a deep and delicious experience.
