The nose is redolent with juicy green fruits. Lots of ripe green apples, pears, banana, warm pastries, assorted confectionary sweetness and wee touches of cough medicine. There’s also pine resin, dolly mixtures and lemon oil. Water diverts the fruitiness in a more tropical direction. Lots of exotic fruit syrups, orange oils, camphor, hessian, top notch bourbon cocktails, mineral oils, cornbread and sourdough. The mouth is buttery and delightfully dense and sweet. Fruit salad chews, natural fruit extracts, citrus peels, waxes, tea tree oil, herbal liqueurs, pine resin and pastis. Dilution brings notes of toasted seed mix, coconut creme brulee, spiced cider, salted liquorice, mead, satsuma and strawberry scented tobacco.
