The Gathering High Five bundle spans Speyside, Campbeltown and Islay distilleries to offer you and your whisky-loving friends a dynamic tasting selection to celebrate with! Our September quintet of taste adventures will delight the senses in unforgettable fashion. What better place to start than with the first distillery the Society ever bottled? Cask No. 1.257 Lip-smacking, and summery offers the perfect delicacy and nuance to welcome your palate to a cask strength tasting. Tropical fruits, citrus and firm oak will delight for our opening salvo. Cask No. 39.224 An orchard moment keeps the tropical vibe going whilst adding dimensions of orchard fruits, flowers and chocolate fudge. Cask No. 71.85 View from the top dials up the texture and palate richness with a merry mix of sweet and savoury notes to keep your imagination running wild. We head to the west coast of Scotland for our final two casks in a side-by-side peated punch up for you ‘tar-lifers’ out there. Cask No. 93.177 Crossing the event horizon offers a boisterous expression from Campbeltown as barbecued meats, sardines marinated in olive oil and smoked black olives make our mouths water. Cask No. 53.391 Dark secrets presents this stalwart make expressed through the glorious lens of an Oloroso sherry cask. Smoked fish and medicinal notes collide with marmalade glaze and molasses in this mind-blowing dram to savour.
