The 2023 Gathering Collection is a fantastic trio chosen and named by fellow Society member Andrew Bisom, of Trabuco Canyon, CA! Andrew was the lucky winner of our Gathering 2023 Sweepstakes last year that sent him to The Vaults, our spiritual home in Leith, for two days of cask selection with other members from around the globe. Andrew’s cask selections are spot-on, featuring USA exclusive casks with specially-designed Gathering labels from the Speyside, Campbeltown and Islay. Cask No. 6.71 Twin notes of a family favourite brings the dark and decadent aspects of Oloroso sherry maturation to the fore with dark chocolate, molasses and caramel. Cask No. 93.202 Coastal Cruising is a classic expression from Campbeltown with a combination of ocean breeze and vanilla richness to sip and savour. Cask No. 53.454 Friends and a fall bonfire on a pacific beach offers seaside smoke, herbs and S’mores to finish the flight in Islay-born style. This tantalizing trio of exclusive casks offers three distinguished expressions of Scotch malt whisky.
