Our In Love with Sherry bundle delivers a masterclass in flavour derived from sherry cask maturation. Four lively malts from the Speyside offer distinctly different experiences in the glass. Cask No. 72.117 Black Forest delight leads the flavour charge with dark and decadent notes of chocolate, caramel, cherries and toasted nuts from maturation in Oloroso and charred puncheon casks. Cask No. 95.76 A stroll in the gardens presents a fresh and floral expression from time in Spanish oak Oloroso cask. Maple syrup, overripe orchard fruits and freshly baked cinnamon buns are just a few of the aromas and flavours discovered in this dram. Cask No. 64.141 High fashion switches gears to an American oak PX hogshead displaying raisins, brown sugar and plenty of citrusy zest whilst sweeter notes of golden syrup and vanilla are balanced by leather and spice. Finally, Cask No. 36.206 The drum major's dram benefited from maturation in ex-bourbon and ex-bodega PX cask. An ex-bodega cask holds sherry for several years, bestowing beautiful PX notes on the whisky. This bold distillate holds its sherry influence wonderfully with barbecued meats, ripe red fruits and much more! Slàinte!
