Aromas of Parma Violets, lychees, melon balls, red jelly, vanilla nutmeg custard, ‘Munch Bunch’ yogurt, Love Heart sweets and yummy runny honey as well as fresh coffee grounds and pencil shavings made this a fascinating dram on the nose neat. There was still some life in the ’old boy’; chilli ginger and Dijon mustard, soon followed by a four-layer chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. With a little water we painted an old wooden fence white before chocolate-coated digestive biscuits and a hazelnut meringue cake emerged. To taste, simply delicious - just like butter-finger fudge, white chocolate chips, marshmallow cream, sugar, butter and a pinch of salt.
