Has somebody just used a splash of 4711 original Eau de Cologne with that distinctive citrus aroma and notes of orange oil, peach, basil and bergamot? That would be sacrilege behaviour – of course not! On the palate, a sweet, menthol and lightly fizzy spice followed by a delightful white chocolate custard tart with nutmeg pastry. When we added water a Scottish childhood favourite lemon flavoured ‘Creamola Foam’, made a comeback as did a dazzling display of snowdrops doggedly pushing through February’s snow and celebrating the arrival of the first warming sun of the year. Gentle and relaxing - a delicate, delicious delight.
