Plums and oranges were juggled above a ring of cake dough and salted caramel while on the floor lay scattered malted barley, fresh straw and caster sugar. From a trapeze high above, digestive biscuits and roasted hazelnuts swung with a crew of vanilla and honey roast cashew nuts. With water came marzipan and candyfloss for the crowd as the ring master handed out toffee apples, sweet oranges and kumquats. A final finale of cinnamon-dusted hot chocolate and rhubarb marmalade introduced banana skins and cedar wood with fine a perfume that merged together perfectly and with the balance of a skilled acrobat.
