Flight of the tooth fairy

Speyside, Lossie

Flying past an abundance of sweet red roses, lavender bushes and orchards of ripe apples, the tooth fairy made a beeline for the sweetie shop. Jars of hard candy and fruit-flavoured sweeties stood on seasoned oak shelves. Strong fruity aromas conjured images of pomegranate, pineapple and melon while a zesty tang came from lemon balm. A tingle of horseradish sauce morphed into gooseberry tart before soft oatmeal notes merged with heather ale. A fairy’s teardrop of water delivered aromas of white chocolate and fine sawdust while floral notes continued with dried flowers. A tart edge provided the freshness of citrus oils and greengage as spicy pink peppercorns arrived with poppy seed sprinkled rye bread. Finally damson pudding and white marshmallows brought a sticky sweetness that faded into tea tree oil on the finish.
