“Bundle up” with our Winter Wonders trio for a flavour-fueled tasting you and your whisky-loving friends won’t soon forget. Cask No. 72.119 Winter market treats boasts a round, honeyed mouthfeel and sublime mix of fruits, toasty malt, sweet vanilla and savoury herbs. A soft and subtly complex dram to start the tasting. Cask No. 41.160 What a combination was aged in ex-bourbon and a French dessert wine barrique. That maturation yields a malt absolutely packed with flavour from toffee and nuts to caramel and brownies. This ‘Muscat de Rivesaltes’ barrique imparts not just sweetness but a little bitter character to keep it all balanced. Gorgeous dram! Cask No. 4.360 Jangling dram is another stellar example of Orkney peat in the glass. Plenty of maritime freshness precedes classic heather and honey smoke we look for in these casks. Confectionary, floral and mineralic notes round out this beautiful sipper just waiting to impress!
