Cask No. 46.150 Nostalgia was better in the olden days was matured for 31 years between ex-bourbon and sherry casks, creating a highly expressive dram that garners the very best from each cask type. Enjoy decadent chocolatey, nutty, and black fruit richness that finds complexity from oak spice and herbal tones on the sophisticated palate. Silky texture and a surprisingly long finish really make you step back in time, sipping a single malt from another era. The same may be said for 34-year-old Cask No. 63.117 Rich treasures soaked in time. This is clearly the purist’s choice having spent all 34 years in a refill ex-bourbon barrel. The distillate sings here with a deeply nuanced aromatic and flavour profile that dotes on notes of old chests, libraries and dried herbs with plenty of honey, and exotic fruits to sweeten the deal. This is so incredibly layered that you must take your time and relish in the complexities that unfold!
