Notes

Indulge in our largest and most generous bundle of the year with Roaring Good Whisky! The holiday season is approaching with plenty of opportunities for whisky-loving friends and family to come together for a proper tasting. Be prepared to take your guests on a fantastic flavour journey with six single malts that will impress palates! Cask No. 52.40 Sweet and zesty sea air starts the party in refreshing style. Sea spray and driftwood lead into tropical ceviche notes in this conversation starter of a dram. The title for Cask No. 59.67 Kooky, wacky, flaky, funky speaks volumes as this malt zigs and zags for a compelling pour – waxy and oily textures, earthy cakes, refreshingly fruity desserts, nuts and exotic spices are all in store for the taster. The next two malts are assigned the same ‘Spicy & Sweet’ flavour profile yet offer wildly different expressions of scotch whisky. Cask No. 73.123 A carpenter’s break is a beautifully robust malt from this distillery, boasting spice racks, coffee beans, chocolate and poached pears. Cask No. 95.51 Tropical dreams uses maturation in a Belizean rum cask to transport us to the tropics with our Tasting Panel sipping rum, fresh lime juice, Angostura bitters and sugar cane juice and proclaiming, “sunshine in a glass”! Cask No. 41.142 Jam-packed with darkness is a special treat for sherry lovers – all 13 years were spent in sherry casks, with 11 years in Oloroso and 2 years in PX! Rich and savoury, nutty and chocolatey aromas and flavours will warm you from the inside out. Finally, it’s time to impress your fellow whisky-lovers with the complexity peated whisky can afford. Cask No. 108.43 A cornucopia of curiosities runs the gamut of chocolate treats, smoked meats, chimney smoke and road tar. Intensely satisfying with so much to unpack on the palate, what a daring dram to finish your flight!
