Notes

Flavour Fireworks calls us to celebrate new whisky epiphanies with like-minded whisky-loving friends. This ‘summer sixer’ will invite plenty of ‘oohs and ahs’ as palates take in the spectacle! Our display kicks off with Cask 39.189 Jamboree!, a vibrant offering from a classic central Speyside distillery. Summery fruits, flowers and white chocolate combine for an invigorating start. Cask 95.35 Herbal bouquet introduces even more floral elements and adds complexity with earthier tones of ginger spice and pine forest. Cask 41.127 Mind that big ginger fae' Moffat! is a big-hearted dram that spent time in an Oloroso sherry butt before additional maturation in a charred puncheon. The aromas and flavours leap from the glass in this dark and dangerously tasty whisky. Cask 6.36 The hills are alive... with the sound of muesli just may see you twirling about on an Austrian hillside. Wherever you enjoy this dram, the confection, maltiness and floral freshness will certainly have you counting it among your favourite things! With Cask 16.44 Breakfast in a highland croft, we gently enter into the peated realm with this toasty treat. Just a whisper of smoke here to whet the appetite, accompanied by sweet and savoury nuances that will stoke the imagination. Cask 66.164 I like big butts is a perfectly suitable ‘grand finale’ cask for this Flavour Fireworks display. The whisky saw time in both American oak and European oak Oloroso casks before bottling and the result is a big, sweet and smoky appeal that will be difficult to put down. The nose is rife with complexities and the palate is booming with flavour. Your senses will be feeling the fireworks with this sizzling sextet showcasing six different flavor profiles!
