Our March into Spring! bundle is sure to stoke some cask strength conversation with a trio of tantalizing malts. “Juicy, oak & vanilla” Cask No. 48.154 Zingy and lip-smackingly tasty kicks off our taste adventure with a wild ride of aromas and flavours derived from a muscular make and ex-bourbon maturation – from herbal tea to chili spice, citrus peel to berry surprise, caramel to liquorice, this malt has it all! “Spicy & sweet” Cask No. 6.69 Tyrant, show thy face! spent its entire life in a 2nd fill sherry cask. Chocolate and vanilla melt into coffee, cigar box and leather for a sophisticated second dram. “Deep, rich & dried fruits” Cask No. 41.161 A modern masterclass sees maturation in Chinkapin oak. This species (Quercus Muehlenbergii) is a close relative of American White Oak (Quercus alba) but imparts darker flavours, like smoked meats and maple syrup, on its contents. This is a deliciously complex sipper that should not be missed…. An exquisite finish to this first-class flight!
