Cask No. 72.85

Dunnage beehive

Speyside, Lossie

A vivacious initial aroma of cedar, sweet honey, orange oils, honeycomb, honey cake orange flowers, mandarin liqueur, tea cakes, caramel wafers and honeysuckle draped around a potting shed. A little water and there's powdered custard, coriander leaf, Edinburgh Rock, heather honey, IPA, dessert wines and lemon powder. To taste this one is initially full of buttered white toast, young Calvados, menthol eucalyptus travel sweets, hardwood resins, Earl Grey tea and dried rosemary. Water enhances the earthiness with notes of mushroom powder, damp sack cloth, olive oil, damp tobacco, milk ice cream and dunnage warehouse funk.
