Tasting Panel Notes
The aroma shared similarities with a fresh, zesty white wine such as a pinot grigio or a vinho verde from Portugal. After a little time, iced lemon black tea and rice pudding sprinkled with cinnamon appeared. To taste, we sipped vermouth from Italy, with the addition of a splash of soda and a slice of lemon, served with a bowl of whole, ground and roasted almonds. Adding water, orange blossom and peppermint cordial came to the fore before pink peppercorns and white chocolate mice appeared. On the palate this was fresh and citric, delivering limoncello lemon sorbet with mint and, in the finish, candied fruits.
