Cask No. 48.74
Coffee kisses and lucky tatties
Speyside, Spey
How would you fancy a picnic at the end of summer with hay bales for seating and tables covered in well starched white linen? We had just peach yoghurt and are about to open a bottle of Prosecco, sharing coffee kisses. What a lovely tingling, spicy, dry but sweet mouthfeel like freshly crystallised ginger, spiced peaches in brandy and toffee apples. With a drop of water fresher at first like a Kaffir lime leaf then lucky tatties (minty fondant covered in cinnamon), before caramel granny apple cake arrived. Sweet and spicy on the palate like a dark chocolate Lebkuchen heart.
