Clearly one for the worm tub club; polished wood, new age incense, nougat topped with caramel and peanuts as well as grilled pears covered in cinnamon drizzle. Sweet char on the palate neat at first soon followed by sticky maple-glazed ham with baked apple sauce and a spiced (ginger, cloves, nutmeg and vanilla) rum in the finish. Water added a further dimension with perfumed tobacco smoke, roasting chestnuts and smoked rhubarb flavoured marshmallows. To taste chilli glazed gammon with caramelised fresh pineapple, thick-cut marmalade and a refreshing pleasing yeastiness which developed into spice and bananas like in a good wheat beer.
