The aroma neat was that of pineapple and raspberry flavoured fruit salad chews alongside rhubarb and custard, as well as lemon washing up liquid and Jamaican lime biscuits. On the palate we stayed with the same sweet manufacturer as we got flumps, those vanilla flavoured fluffy mallow twists, washed down with a ginger lime coke. The addition of water brought the scent of limoncello, vanilla ice cream, coconut shavings and melted butter to the fore while the taste had plenty of sweet and slightly spicy flavours like a mint tea spiced with ginger and lemon as well ‘Erfrischungs-Staebchen’ - chocolate sticks filled with tart orange lemon jelly.
