About A moongazing dram: With a provenance like this, is an endorsement necessary? Suffice it to say this is the most popular expression of whisky we release and for good reason. It’s positively delicious with an undeniable reputation. 

Tasting Panel Note: Like moonlight on strawberries and elderflowers, a sweet fragrance danced in darkness alongside raisins, figs and red shoelace sweets. A burst of ginger in the twilight washed over muscovado sugar and dark chocolate, dipping into stewed rhubarb and treacle. With water, an outburst of sweetness carried toffee, butterscotch and shortbread biscuits out of the shadows and into the glow from sweet cherries in syrup. Falling back into the murk, espresso overflowed from a cafetière and on to dried apple rings in a cauldron of vanilla custard topped with clotted cream. At 10 years of age, we combined selected casks from the same distillery. We then returned the single malt into a variety of different casks to develop further. This is one of those casks.
