It’s all sweetness and coconut at first. Abundant butterscotch, creme brulee, apple sourz, fizzy melon cocktails, sugar syrup, toffee apples and sweet mulled cider. Water softens and dries things up a little. Lots of fresh linen and fabric, curry leaf, dried herbs, menthol toothpaste, green tea with lemon, hawthorne, butter biscuits and honeyed porridge. The mouth continues the apple theme with apple sauce, aged calvados, sultanas, banana bread, lychee, cookie dough and a mint julep made with very old rum. A splash of water brings lime cordial, lightly sooty wax, earthy turmeric and polo mints.
