Our Beautifully Bold and Balanced duo sets the stage for a rewarding tasting that features ex-bourbon and ex-sherry cask maturations. Cask No. 35.317 A balancing act returns to its stylistic roots with lovely floral and herbal notes taking the lead whilst balancing sweeter citrus, tropical fruit and dessert wine notes. This dram is a perfect introduction to the distillate style and serves as a younger complement to the older expressions we’ve released of late from this distillery. Cask No. 46.147 Hubble bubble garners immense texture and flavour from its time in an American oak Pedro Ximenez hogshead. Like sipping an Old Fashioned with a slice of spiced rum cake on the side, nuanced notes reveal themselves as the whisky glides across your palate on a pillow of dried fruits and molasses. This is moreish and magical malt from Distillery #46, and a spectacular duo to personify bold and balanced malts!
