Either way, your palate comes out a winner! Start off with Cask No. 28.57 Scrambled heather for a ‘Spicy & Dry’ cask to pair with a classic lager. Clean, slightly malty suds with spicy aromas in the dram make for a happy palate and a perfect opener to the tasting. Turn up the hops a notch with a pale ale to pair with Cask No. 48.124 A carpenter's bench where the citrusy confection from this spicy & sweet whisky will be perfectly suited for a lightly hopped pale ale. Crank the hops to eleven when Cask No. 26.168 A rustling through the dunes matches buttery texture, vanilla, chocolate and spices with a robustly hoppy IPA. The aromatically intense tropical notes of the beer and equally intense expression of the malt are a sensory match made in heaven. Now we enter a dark world of darker beer with our last two casks.
