Whisky Festival Season continues with a tremendous collection of Highland casks! The 2024 Festivals Highland Collection features 5 newly released casks! We are celebrating with exhilarating expressions from this breathtaking part of the world. Distillery 4 Rare Release Take Me to the Chippy is a 20-year-old single malt that exudes all the maritime delicacies of a seaside resort town with the core of ‘heather and honey’ peat we look for from the distillery. This is one of the very best we’ve tasted! Distillery 55 Rare Release High Tea in a Busy Kitchen garners its deep color and flavour from Chinkapin oak casks. These casks impart notes of pancakes with syrup and smoked bacon notes on the already impressively fruit-forward profile. Distillery 149 Rare Release Braai in the Lemon Grove impressed us with its coastal and smoky intensity. Citrusy and briny to a tee, look for smoked meats and dirty martinis in this west coast beauty. Our US-exclusive single cask offerings present two very different styles. Cask No. 60.40 Fragile Youth is a beautiful example of bourbon cask-matured distillate. Malt and honey melt into one another in a subtly complex sipper from a rarely-seen distillery. Cask No. 78.85 Walking through a spice market spent time in Oloroso sherry cask and the effect is marvelous! Bold distillate and sherry influence combine for a richly rewarding taste experience redolent with exotic spices and savoury treats. Two compelling pours to round out our Highland festival program.
