Our next two casks offer delightful sherried profiles from different types of sherry. Cask No. 95.71 Prepare for winter turns on the Oloroso charm with a fragrant display of exotic spices and citrus before a palate of spiced chocolate, dried fruits and cured meats really make us sit up and take notice. Cask No. 36.194 Mid-winter celebrations arrives with a Pedro Ximenez bravado, throwing the whole spice cabinet at us before evolving into a much more savoury dram with roasted meats and red wine.
