Cask No. 18.61
Sand dunes and sunrise
"This is a fun bottling for you – two casks were aged 12 years in ex-bourbon before one was transferred to Oloroso and the other transferred to PX sherry cask. They were then combined before bottling, offering a perfect storm of sherry and oak. Lots of dessert and dessert wine flavors come together in this impressive effort from a hard-to-find distillery. In fact, Distillery 18 is one of those malts you rarely get to see outside of blends and never see in the US, so I’m glad you have the chance to experience this deeply delicious dram."

Cask No. 122.64
Smoke devil marries a delicate sweet thing
"This 17-year-old Highland whisky in our ‘Lightly Peated’ category finished its maturation for 3 years in a second-fill Spanish oak Oloroso hogshead. What feels like a heavier peat has been tamped down by time and the slight Oloroso influence. Waves of sweet peat, honey graham crackers dipped in marshmallow cream freshly taken off of a coal smoker greet you from start to finish. This is a perfect example of when peat and sweet come together, and a perfect dram for these cold winter nights."
