2025 Exclusive Cask Selection Offered To
PCA Members
The Scotch Malt Whisky Society is proud to sponsor The Porsche Club of America to offer a rare selection of our single malt whiskies exclusively for PCA members.
In March, 2024 we welcomed delegates from PCA to our spiritual home in Edinburgh, Scotland to sample a wide variety of whisky casks maturing in our warehouse. After rigorously taste-testing many whiskies, four (4) were identified as the most exceptional and chosen to be bottled for members of PCA.
Drawing inspiration from our shared enthusiasm for Porsche and Scotch, each cask has been numbered and assigned a unique automotive-themed name to represent the sensory experience offered by the whisky in each bottle.
Having been bottled from single casks, each whisky is extremely rare (<300 bottles per cask) and available on a first-come-first-served basis. The liquid inside each bottle represents the purest form of Scotch whisky, presented at natural cask strength without dilution, filtration or artificial coloring with the full cask specs printed on each label.
Please note that a membership to The Scotch Malt Whisky Society is required to order any bottle from our shop.
As a PCA member, please enter promo code PCA at checkout to waive the membership fee and receive a complimentary one-year membership.
This offer is only for US based PCA members. No deliveries are permitted to locations outside the United States. No delivery to PO Boxes.
Cask No. 48.176 ‘Paint to sample’
Flavour Profile: Deep, rich & dried fruits
Age: 14 years
Cask: First-fill STR American oak barrique
Region: Speyside
Available: 254 bottles
Description: A rich and hearty winter-time whisky with notes of seared venison, maple syrup, and caramel painted with red wine jus. At natural cask strength, the spirit is powerful and focused but with a dash of water in the glass, an infinite selection of new flavors are unlocked with new tasting notes to discover at each sip. It’s the perfect whisky to end a mid-winter’s day spent tearing through the Swiss alps in an air-cooled 911. It was risky…but oh so much fun.
Cask No. 9.299 ‘One of one’
Flavour Profile: Old & dignified
Age: 20 years
Cask: First-fill ex-bourbon barrel
Region: Speyside
Available: 170 bottles
Description: A classical expression of Scotch whisky from the famed Speyside region. After aging for two decades, this cask has produced an old and evocative whisky with notes of honeysuckle, aromatic wood and dried tobacco leaf. It’s a bit like being driven down the Autobahn in a new Panamera. Part of you wishes to be the one driving on a road with no speed limit. But the other part of you is perfectly content sat in the back seat with the massage function activated. A true luxury experience.
Cask No. 53.488 ‘Giant slayer’
Flavour Profile: Peated
Age: 13 years
Cask: First-fill American oak Oloroso sherry hogshead
Region: Islay
Available: 259 bottles
Description: The Islay region of Scotland is known for producing a bold and smoky style of whisky and this cask is no exception. It’s a wild and thrilling sensory experience not for the faint of heart! Notes of smoldering wood, iodine and scorched tar are intertwined with smoked meats and salted liquorice. Did someone open a bottle of whisky or am I smelling the exhaust fumes of a 1953 550 RS?
Cask No. 95.96 ‘Brake dust on the fuchs’
Flavour Profile: Lightly peated
Age: 11 years
Cask: Refill ex-Islay PX Sherry hogshead
Region: Speyside
Available: 275 bottles
Description: A true enigma of the whisky world - this young Speyside whisky was partially matured in a Pedro Ximenez sherry cask that was previously used to age a smoky Islay whisky. The result is unlike anything we’ve seen before: a bright and fruity spirit with a thin veil of burnt toast and residual peat smoke. It’s a bit like taking a GT3 on a road trip across the state of Texas. Is it the most practical vehicle for the job? No. Will you forget the experience? Also no.
