Private Virtual Tastings
At The Scotch Malt Whisky Society, we believe that great whisky is not only defined by the liquid in the bottle but by the people with whom we share it. As we continue to spend more time at home with limited opportunities for in-person socializing, we have received an abundance of requests to host virtual whisky tastings.
In support of our members and fellow whisky lovers alike, we are pleased to now offer private virtual whisky tastings for you and your friends! With each virtual tasting, our team of passionate whisky experts guide you along a tasting of rare Society whisky while introducing key learnings that will elevate your knowledge and appreciation of the spirit. Key learnings include:
- A brief history of Scotch whisky
- How to properly “nose” and “taste”
- The different styles and flavours of Scotch available today
- An understanding of flavour in whisky and the major factors that contribute to it
To request your own private virtual tasting, please submit a brief explanation of your desired tasting event including group size, preferred date and time and any additional information that you would like us to consider. Our Member Services Team will be in contact with you shortly!
