Title: As fresh as a mountain stream

Tasting Note: We were making hay while the sun shone, with fat bumble bees tootling around a nearby flower meadow. We had a break and enjoyed hazelnut cream on rye bread and fruity cinnamon oatcakes with chai tea, lemon barley water and ginger beer. With the addition of water, a sweeter aroma was released like marzipan, Peach Melba, Turkish delight, honeycomb, treacle and a vanilla sponge cake. On the palate we settled for a Bloody Mary containing tomato juice, herbs, lemon juice, olives, salt and black pepper next to (of course) Worcestershire sauce, which we washed down with an ice-cold mountain yellow Enzian (gentian) liqueur.
